Grateful Talbot County residents, Paul and Joanne Prager, and the Bluepoint Hospitality team, are honored to announce the Fifth Annual First Responders Celebration. The women and men serving Talbot County, including State Troopers (Easton Barracks), Sheriff and Police Officers, EMS, and Talbot County’s Volunteer Firefighters, will receive a Bluepoint Hospitality Gift Card valued at $100.
Since its inception in 2021, with increased challenges facing first responders, this Celebration began as a token of gratitude to those who unconditionally provided aid during the country’s most vulnerable time. Now in its fifth year, the celebration will continue to contribute this gift to over 600 first responders – a very personal recognition to hundreds of heroes in the community.
On Thursday, June 12, 2025, Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown will join the Prager Family and Bluepoint Hospitality in this special celebration. The brief ceremony will be held on the lawn of the Talbot County Courthouse, beginning at noon.
Local residents and businesses are encouraged to attend and show their support for these men and women who keep the community safe. Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to enjoy a complimentary slice of authentic Roman-style Pizza from nearby Bluepoint Hospitality eatery, Roma Alla Pala – led by Chef Todd Lindeberg and the Bluepoint Executive Chef Harley Peet, the 2024 James Beard Foundation “Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic” award recipient.
A longtime resident of the Eastern Shore, Prager fell in love with the area during his years at the Naval Academy and returned to build a retreat for his family, and, eventually, the endearing collection of establishments that is Bluepoint Hospitality.
Not only is the hospitality group one of downtown Easton’s largest employers, but the Prager family’s philanthropic spirit – by way of Bluepoint Hospitality – has touched countless individuals and local organizations. This includes contributions to Easton Little League, Talbot Hospice, University of Maryland Shore Regional Health Golf Classic, Chesapeake Film Festival, For All Seasons, Flags for Heroes, Talbot County Public Schools, and more.
